More Soldering

Gambit

I almost finished up all of the soldering that is left to finally test the sensing mechanism. The template I have used to get this far has been of great help but due to the nature of it, I suspect there will be slight error when the system is combined. I will take care of these errors as they emerge.

The soldering has been extremely tedious as I have been unable to use helping hands to assist in bringing the wires together. Furthermore, The wires are not bare which results in constant wire stripping which when needed in the middle of a wire as opposed to the ends of them, make the process 10 times longer than it needs to be.

If this system is to be replicated, I will make sure to use wires that are bare and cover the needed parts as needed.

Sensing

The only remaining part of the matrix is the wires that connect each of the sensors to ground along with extending the ends of the wire to make the connecting of the matrix to the arduino much easier.

Habit Tracking

Today, I journaled, worked out, read, tracked my caloric intake, and worked on at least one of my personal projects. Today was a good day.

What I am thankful for

I am thankful for soldering. It is a mindless task that can be quite relaxing and calming despite the toxic fumes.
